There’s a warmth in the air. The sun in all its glory has caught my attention as it slips closer and closer to the horizon. A few wispy clouds blocking, yet adding to that stunning view. The birds have quieted down. The bees have stopped buzzing. And there’s a gentle breeze blowing. This day is just about done.
As I think back, it was a good day. I got in a little quiet time this morning … a necessity for every day! And I managed to get in a little still life photography before I headed in to pick up my grandson.
Today I went in a little early to get a picture of this adorable little church. Such an inviting little spot with its tree-filled landscape inviting you in to hear about Jesus.
The sun is gone now and darkness is beginning to fold in all around me. I guess it’s time to go inside and put this day to rest.
Thanks for stopping in.
I glance toward my window and see it’s still dark out. The sun is waiting longer these days to show it’s pretty colors. Because of the terrain, light is necessary, so I wait until the sun comes up to head out. This time of year, that time varies from day to day. If I wait too long, I’m too late because it gets warm so quickly here where I live. On this pretty summer morning, just as the sun began to rise over the mountains to the east I put my jogging shoes on and headed out.
It grows wild and free and attracts some of the prettiest of God’s little creatures. The wind blows it’s branches and shapes it accordingly and seems to have a freedom all it’s own. I believe God wants us to all be free like His glorious creation and grow and walk in freedom.
