Portraits ... Whether you're doing your first session or your 100th, there's always something to learn. I counted up just some of my sessions and I have about 300 currently on my site. And I'm still learning.
This session with Miranda and Andre was super fun! I tried a few techniques to just get them comfortable and get some more natural 'less posed' looking images.
I gave them a few instructions:
- stand very close to one another
- link arms
- look a variety of directions ... at each other, down, towards me
- allow yourself to walk wobbly, bumping hips (basically a drunk walk)
What happened was they were naturally looking at each other, smiling and even laughing. And it was so much fun!
I think it was pretty successful.

Do you have any tips or tricks you use in your portrait sessions?
Or, how about a portrait session for you? Wouldn't that be fun! Give me a call or send me a message. We can talk about it.
