Since August 7, 1969 until February 21, 2023 it was just the five of us.
Mom, having only been in the United States for 12 years began her life of living in a foreign country with four small children. Mom wasn't new to loss. She had lost her own Mom at the age of 3. And saw her Dad for the last time in 1957.
She was a strong woman. She was a funny woman. She was loved and enjoyed by many ... more than I can even know.
We weren't new to loss either, losing our Dad on August 7, 1969.
I miss her terribly. All of my siblings and I do. And now it's just the four of us. It has been that was for two years. It is our job to carry on the family ties and the memory of our beautiful Mom. Mom taught us to be strong, and that we are. She will forever be in our hearts and our memories. We will love her forever.
