On my knees I go. My feet are a bit tingly because prayer wasn't the first thing on my list this morning. I did my usual of heading to the computer ... sitting cross legged on my chair.
I hear Him calling me to spend even just a little time with Him on my knees this morning before I get into the busyness of the day.

So I'm there. Ready and waiting ... and He speaks ... 'Let go of the overwhelm.'
'Give it to Me', He says.
'I made peace - for you.'
I had a sense there was going to be a trade-off. I was going to give Him my overwhelm and He would replace it with His gift of peace.
As I knelt before Him, I didn't feel overwhelmed in the slightest. But that feeling and those moments jump right into the middle of my life when I least expect it. My response isn't always the best and so this was a truth that I knew I needed.
Saying yes now would help in those times to come.
I sighed a sigh of relief as His peace fell over me.
