Once a moment has passed you can no longer capture it again. People are always saying we should live in the moment and put our phones/cameras down. I agree to a certain extent. But there are moments that are totally worthy of capturing. I believe I am able to live in the moment while also capturing those moments.
So, if you have your camera ready, you can capture so many things. Maybe my images will inspire you of some of the things you can capture. Some images will be mine and some will be ones that were taken of me or my siblings when we were young.
While some of these below are posed and planned, many are just what is happening. They aren't perfect. But they capture the memories.
This next set are planned and edited. They are ones you can do as well. When you make yourself a special drink, capture it! Baking cookies ... capture some scenes there. Capture some of your favorite ornaments on your tree ... or place them strategically to capture a color theme, etc.
And these few are memories from my family ... just a few that I have. Treasures.
The main thing is to capture the season. Use your phone or your big camera ... whatever you have. Take pictures of you and those who are special to you. Take pictures of special decorations. Take pictures of a special seasonal recipe or whatever!
Merry Christmas to you!
