Me too ... it seems as though it is something I'm always on the hunt for. Not just for photography, but just for life in general.
I'm completely surrounded by it inspirational things. You are too!
So, here are a few tips for you as you do what we all do, searching for something to photograph or write about.
- Look around you
- You don't have to take a trip to a beautiful place to find things to inspire you. It can be right in your own backyard or neighborhood. Take a walk around the block or down the street in your town. You might be very surprised at what you see! (I did that last week in our little town and got some great photos ... watch for that post this week.)
- Pick a color
- Once you've selected a color, go through your house or yard and find everything in that shade or shades and gather them together. They will inspire you to do something creative ... maybe a still life, or possibly a blog post.
- Pull out your journal and read a few of your entries.
- Those entries have the potential to inspire you on to something new ... a new adventure, a new blog post, something to photograph
