It took a whole lot of planning and a whole lot of driving, but we were determined to do it.

Max and Jensen, my nephew and now niece, were getting married and we were going ... all 15 of us! Thirteen in the van and two of us in my car.

It was quite an adventure, through Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico and then Texas. Seeing that van and the sweet smiles and waves in front of us was a highlight for me.

A trip to remember for sure!
