I suppose my favorite flower is seasonal. Lavender, as you may have already heard from me, grows great out where I live, so it's an often photographed flower ... and a favorite!
There's a small window of time that peonies are available. I normally find them at Trader Joes. I love them! And the challenge of finding different ways to arrange them in my photos. And then there are tulips ... I haven't always loved them, but do now!
Holly hocks have been a favorite since we lived in town. They grew great in our front yard. That house had so much water around it and everything grew great! And actually, these may not need much water though, because I rarely water them out there and they grow like weeds!
As I write this post, I realize that I really don't have a true favorite. And I have to stop looking through my flower images because I just won't stop uploading them if I do.
Is there one that you are particularly drawn to? Or are you like me and pretty much love them all? I'd love to hear ...

I love orchids too Laurel. Do you have any tips on keeping them alive and well? I have such troubles with them!

Lavender, Tulips, Peonies…. I love them all! I especially love hydrangeas, although they are hard to keep. I’ve never attempted to grow them. However, my grandmother grew beautiful blue hydrangeas and I will always remember with fondness her love for them. What a lovely post!

They are Lisa! You use so many flowers in your pretty papers. Somehow I grow snapdragons out where I live. They’re a delicate flower and one of the few that like it out where I live.
