Today I'm 61! It's so incredibly hard to believe. I feel as though I should be 41 ... or maybe 51. π The time has flown by and yet I have so many wonderful memories that have been made over the years.
I have a wonderful and close family ... three beautiful daughters and their spouses and nine incredible grandchildren. And then, of course, the man I married just over 40 years ago.
About two years ago I decided to embrace my graying hair ... it was a good choice. Although sometimes in the right (or should I say wrong) light it looks more gray than others ... I'm not always happy with the way it looks! π A natural look is what I prefer ... and really always have.
When I look at my graying hair, the wrinkles that have formed on my face and the veins that seem to be enhanced on my hands, I know that I have earned them with every day that I've lived here on this earth. Not everyone is so blessed to live this long.
So I am thankful for sixty one.
