Whenever I’m in the mountains I want to go to a waterfall. Or driving up Highway 1 McWay Falls is always something I want to see. I’m not sure what it is, but I’m definitely attracted to them!
Maybe it’s the photo opportunity … to an extent I know it is.
But there’s something about them …

There’s just something about that constant stream of water, rushing over the rocks that seems to fill me with a newness and refreshing.
The sound of the water makes me aware of my surroundings. It seems that all of my senses come alive.
The cool splashes of water from the spray and thundering sound that seems to drown out every other sound around bring you to a place of quiet in your soul and you can just stand in awe of this majestic part of creation!
And so I say go to the waterfall … I’m not saying go on a mountain hike and find a waterfall. I’m saying to go the waterfall …
God is a constant stream of newness and refreshing. He can bring us to a place of quiet in our souls and we can be refreshed and made new.
He wants to fill us and overflow us with His love and His power! With these things, we can’t be stopped! So, again I say, go to the waterfall …
