Good morning … or maybe it’s afternoon or evening where you are! It’s a lovely morning here in California.

I love mornings! It’s my favorite time of day. I’m fresh and full of energy. It’s the time of day when I can accomplish so much. It’s been years since this morning habit of rising early started for me. As I became a new mom, the realization that I didn’t get much time to myself settled in quickly. In order to get that time, I began to get up at 5 every day. And I love it! Although, I do dream of sleeping in until the sun comes pouring into my brightly lit room … but I just can’t seem to do that!

My children are grown and have families of their own now.
