Mary found it, David had it, I want it.

Is it something we practice or cultivate?

Is there anything we can do to enjoy this great benefit He provides for us?

I want to dwell in that place that David asked for.

I want to behold the beauty of the Lord.

And so I do what I can to practice it, and to cultivate it.

I get in that quiet place and I begin to focus on Him.

I let the worries and busyness of the world fade from my thoughts.

Thoughts about Him and what He has done for me begin to fill me.

His presence is there and I am now aware of it ...

Peace washes over me.
