Or maybe I should say looking forward to 2018 … this time of year we tend to do both. Looking back is good if we can enjoy and learn from what went on in the previous year. It’s been a good and full year for me. I do look with excitement though at what God has for me in 2018! How has your year been?

We’re encouraged in the Word to ‘reach forward’ to what lies ahead. When we do that, it’s a sign of hope … hope for new things, health, happiness, adventures.

I’ve already shared with you my word God has given me for 2018. If you haven’t read that post, you can do that here. And with that word, I know that areas where I wasn’t necessarily happy with the way things were going this year God is going to turn around.

So, as you approach these last hours of 2017, it is my prayer that you forget the negative that lies behind you … unless you are learning from those things … And that you reach forward to what lies ahead in 2018.
